Family Business
With over 45 years of fishing history in the family business, we now run two Cheetah catamaran fishing vessels on the Hunt for tasty Crab & Lobster, as well as line caught Bass. Crewed by Father and son team Graham and Karl and helped out part time by son in law, Paul.
These vessels supply our own nearby fishmonger and Artisan Crab processor, the hugely successful
Dorset Shellfish LTD run by Mumma Shellfish and Daughter Stef.
With all this experience we really know our stuff and we fish using only the most sustainable, low impact methods to protect the future of the fishing industry...
new ideas
With a passion for our industry and listening to the requests from our current customers, we decided to set up a new section of our business - Weymouth Shellfish Charters!
The aim - to provide a fun and informative shellfish safari and a look into our industry, with a chance to see the local wildlife lurking in our waters.
With this in mind we have retrofitted our newest vessel 'Drifter' to do just that. With newly fitted seating for passengers and additional safety features she is ready to go!
Our Skipper Paul aims to give you a great experience and will try to find as many species in the Pots as possible! Book now!!
